🎒 What if I wanted to make a detour to a neighbouring country and come back to Kenya afterwards?
The ETA is valid for a single entry, so if you want to visit a neighbouring country before returning to Kenya, you will need to apply for a second ETA. Do not hesitate to contact our team to obtain an eVisa for Tanzania.
⏰ How long is my ETA valid for?
The ETA permits stays of up to 90 days and once issued, travellers must enter Kenya within the next 3 months.
👫 I'm going to do a voluntary service in Kenya, is ETA enough?
If you want to go to Kenya to do voluntary work, the Tourism ETA is compulsory. But once you arrive you will need go to the Immigration Office in Nairobi to collect the volunteer cardYou do not need to make an appointment.
🚸 Does a child/minor also have to complete an application?
The authorities make no distinction between adults and minors. Children must therefore have their own ETA. The fee is the same as for an adult. You do not need parental authorisation to apply for an ETA, but the airline may ask you for it when you board (see details below).
📩 What should I do once I've received my ETA by email?
Once your ETA application has been approved, the document will be emailed to you in PDF format. You will need to print a colour copy to take with you when you arrive in Kenya.

If minors leave French territory unaccompanied by their legal guardians, they must be in possession of an AST. (authorization to leave the country). This document can be requested onlineThis form must be completed by one of the holders of parental authority. When travelling, this form must be accompanied by a copy of the legal guardian's identity document.
